My name is Jens-Peter Weismantel. I first started gaining experience as a DJ back in 1992, and later spent many years as a radio DJ on online radio. Since 2015 I have been self-employed under the name Mobiler Musikservice, providing music for celebrations where the soundtrack should not merely run in the background, but genuinely fit the occasion.
What matters to me is that a celebration should not follow some standard pattern that could simply be thrown over any group of guests. Every person is different, so every evening may look different as well. What do you want for your event? That is the question worth discussing properly, rather than relying on ready-made concepts.
When to enquire
The most sensible time to enquire is as soon as your venue in Goleniów is confirmed. During the main season from May to September, a lead time of roughly 6 to 12 months is a good guide. Anyone who thinks I only have to press play and the rest will sort itself out either knows private parties only by hearsay or has been extremely lucky.

What I mean by that slightly contradictory opening is simple: weddings need even more care than an ordinary family celebration. Quite rightly, couples want the important details to be right, because unlike a birthday party that went slightly wrong, you cannot simply say, “We will do it better next year.” This day is meant to be special.
That is why I prepare every wedding carefully with the couple. I prefer the final planning meeting to take place at the venue itself, where we can go through the key moments and avoid the usual clashes in the schedule. I also like to involve the best man, maid of honour or whoever is coordinating surprises, so their plans support the celebration instead of colliding with it.

New Year’s Eve has its own rhythm. First there is food, conversation and a bit of warming up, then the tension builds towards midnight and afterwards the party should be allowed to take off properly. Reading that arc is crucial, otherwise the celebration quickly turns into one of those nights where everyone is politely present but nobody ever really gets going.
And let us be honest: even a DJ would usually prefer to spend New Year’s Eve relaxing rather than working. If I am out instead, responsible for the atmosphere, that comes at a price. Anyone who finds that odd is welcome to imagine how many colleagues would gladly drive out on 31 December for an everyday fee. Exactly.

Whether it is a summer party, Christmas event, open day, anniversary or product presentation, the point is usually not simply that some music is playing in the room. What matters is clear sound for announcements, as little microphone chaos as possible and a feel for when things should stay subtle and when they are allowed to become more lively.
For that I bring suitable sound and lighting for speech and music, wireless microphones for hosting or speeches if needed and the experience to support a business framework without killing it through awkward over-entertainment. Sometimes it is a classic prom with a formal part, sometimes more of a graduation party where people do not want to hang around too long once dinner is over. Both are perfectly fine. The only important thing is that technology, programme and music work together instead of tripping over one another. On evenings like this, rough transitions show far more quickly than people would like.
I can accompany your event from the first programme point to the later party section: with suitable sound for speeches and performances, with wireless microphones where needed and of course with music once the formal part should finally become a celebration. First there may still be several generations in the room, later the dance floor should not fall asleep. That is exactly why a DJ is there and not merely as a living speaker stand.
One more recommendation I would really make: do not leave the booking until the very last minute. Graduation events fall right into a season when lots of people want to celebrate at once. The earlier the date is fixed, the easier everything else becomes.
