Mobile DJ for Żary
An ideal DJ for an event in Żary should be someone you would not only book, but someone you could genuinely imagine as a guest at your own celebration. So no forced showmanship, no awkward permanent grin on command, and no microphone work that makes the champagne reception quietly give up and leave.
What you will find here instead is a mobile DJ who believes in personal planning, suitable sound and lighting, and one clear goal: your celebration should not feel interchangeable. The evening should fit you – not some ready-made concept from the drawer labelled “it will probably do somehow”.
No celebration is just “something with music”
People getting married have different expectations from those celebrating a birthday. A family event often brings several generations to the same tables, a club evening has a different rhythm again, and at some parties it is obvious very quickly that the night may start gently but certainly should not end that way.
That is exactly why the occasion matters more here than the place name. The location is important, of course. But nobody remembers how often it appeared on the page. What matters is whether the celebration fits the people who are coming together there.
So you know who you are dealing with
Mobiler Musikservice is me, Jens-Peter Weismantel. My first DJ experience goes all the way back to 1992, followed by many years as a radio DJ in web radio. Since 2015 I have been self-employed, providing music for weddings, birthdays, family celebrations and other occasions where music, atmosphere and people should work together rather than compete.
I do not believe in forcing celebrations into one rigid template just because that makes planning feel easier. People celebrate differently, guests react differently, and the evening may look different for exactly that reason. I would much rather you tell me openly what you want than have some generic programme dumped on top of your event.
How much lead time makes sense
As soon as you know where exactly you will be celebrating in Żary, it is worth getting in touch. During the season from May to September, 6 to 12 months is a good rule of thumb. Outside the season, 1 to 3 months is often enough. That does not mean nothing works later on – only that an early enquiry is usually the more relaxed option.
Summer is here and the dance floors are full. If you are still planning a celebration now, you should act quickly. Available Saturdays for weddings, birthdays and parties up to the end of September are becoming fewer by the day.
Frequently booked as DJ for:
➥ Private parties
Private parties rarely bring together just one type of crowd. From the child with a juice glass to the aunt with unexpectedly strong dance floor instincts, everybody is there – and that is exactly why such an evening needs more than a few safe hits.

Whether it is a birthday, pre-wedding party, anniversary or a larger celebration with family and friends: hosts want atmosphere, guests would ideally each like to hear their own music, and somewhere in between stands the DJ. Anyone who thinks I only have to press play and the rest will sort itself out either knows private parties only by hearsay or has been extremely lucky.
In Żary, things usually work just like they do elsewhere: first you need a feel for the evening, then for the guests, and then for the right moment. Some people want to dance early, others only later, and others are simply thrilled when something comes on that they have not heard in years.
That is why I do not try to turn private parties into a pretend nightclub. My job is to shape an evening out of your guests, your occasion and your atmosphere – one that stays lively without pulling in five directions at once. When that works well, it looks easy. It is not.
➥ Wedding parties
A wedding is allowed to be relaxed, loud and full of dancing late into the night. What it should not be is needlessly chaotic in all the places that could easily have been planned properly beforehand.

That is exactly what makes weddings different from many other celebrations for me. Music, timing, surprises and atmosphere all interact much more closely. If something sticks or slips there, people notice it far more quickly than they would at an ordinary party. That is why it is worth discussing the key points in advance instead of hoping improvisation will save the evening.
This is also why I prepare weddings more thoroughly than other events. I work through the schedule, the important highlights and the musical direction with my couples so the evening feels coherent rather than stiff. I also like to involve witnesses or toastmasters, because surprise contributions should support the celebration rather than trip it up.
The county of Żary County offers a wide range of wedding venues. If you are already looking for a DJ, you have probably found your venue already, or perhaps even booked it. Maybe you still have a few lovely places nearby on your shortlist, possibly including venues such as Brody Palace. One thing stays the same either way: ask about the DJ early, ideally around 12 months in advance. Popular dates tend to disappear especially fast.
Getting married in Lubusz – beautiful places for your big day
More and more engaged couples from Germany are consciously choosing Poland for their wedding – a country that combines closeness, warmth and a distinctive atmosphere in a very convincing way.
Anyone marrying in Lubusz discovers more than pretty landscapes. There are lakeside castles, hidden garden venues and charming manor houses that provide both elegance and individuality without feeling generic.
At the same time, the celebrations themselves often feel especially warm and personal. From the welcome to the final dance, many couples experience Polish weddings as heartfelt, lively and full of atmosphere – which is exactly why the region appeals so strongly.
➥ Karaoke
Karaoke – or if you like カラオケ – is exactly the sort of party fun where harmless excitement suddenly turns into a deeply committed version of “I know the chorus!”.

Especially at relaxed celebrations, not every minute needs to be tightly choreographed. Sometimes all it takes is a microphone, the right song and one guest who can either sing surprisingly well or with excellent confidence do the exact opposite. In both cases, entertainment is guaranteed.
The karaoke package includes around 300 songs from evergreen classics to newer chart material, two wireless microphones, a monitor on a stand for the lyrics, playback through my DJ sound system and of course title lists so that people do not have to spend ten minutes debating what can actually be sung.
You can find the current price for adding the karaoke package to your party in Żary here: 69,00 EUR.
One important point, though: this is an add-on to your DJ event. The karaoke package cannot be booked on its own and it is not a rental toaster for the weekend either.
➥ Sports events
Sports events often have a very specific problem: there is action on the field, while off the field nobody quite knows what to do with the time between the start, the break and the award ceremony. That is exactly where a DJ can be more than just a person with loudspeakers.

I can provide sound, make announcements possible and, if required, also take on the moderating role myself. That fits sports festivals, club competitions, smaller tournaments and similar formats where not every detail needs huge production values, but where the whole event should still feel properly organised.
For smaller sports grounds and halls, I bring the equipment including wireless microphones for announcements, awards or interviews. When it comes to larger areas, my ambition stops early enough and I would rather bring in a partner company that is built for that job. It is more honest, it sounds better and it saves nerves in the end.
If the sports event turns into a celebration afterwards, that is not a problem at all but rather the obvious next step. In that case, awards, announcement beds and event music can flow quite naturally into a proper evening party.
➥ New Year's Eve celebrations
New Year’s Eve is one of the very few nights of the year when even people who would normally head for the cloakroom after two songs suddenly want to dance. That is exactly why the musical side of the year-end should not sink into mediocrity.

Anyone celebrating on New Year’s Eve does not want thin background sound and definitely not a DJ who acts surprised at midnight as though the key moment of the evening has only just occurred to him. The place should be running, the mood should carry and between the toast, the countdown and the fireworks it should look and feel like a proper party rather than supervised waiting for midnight.
And yes, New Year’s Eve does not run on normal DJ rates. That should hardly be a surprise. While other people are raising glasses, setting off fireworks or at least trying to eat in peace, the DJ is working. Anyone who seriously believes that New Year’s Eve is merely an ordinary Saturday with a little glitter sprinkled on top is usually brought back to reality fairly quickly.
For your commercial New Year’s Eve event in Żary, the current flat rate for 2026 is 1.200 EUR zzgl. 19 % MwSt. for up to 200 guests, 6 to 8 hours of music, sound and lighting, all in one room or hall. GEMA fees are not included.
If you are celebrating privately or as a club, this flat rate does not apply. In that case, the price is negotiable. Just send me an enquiry and we will look at what makes sense and what is realistically workable.
