Since 2015 I have been self-employed under the name Mobiler Musikservice, providing music for celebrations where the soundtrack should not merely run in the background, but genuinely fit the occasion.

When to enquire
The most sensible time to enquire is as soon as your venue in Sulechów is confirmed. During the main season from May to September, a lead time of roughly 6 to 12 months is a good guide. For me that means looking closely, staying musically flexible and not pretending forty guests will automatically share the same three favourite songs.

Especially at private celebrations, the real work lies in bringing together very different guests musically without the evening falling apart.

That is exactly why every wedding is something special to me as a DJ. I prefer to prepare weddings together with the couple in a personal meeting at the venue itself. In that final conversation we go through every highlight of the celebration so as little as possible is left to chance and typical planning mistakes can be avoided. I also speak with the person taking on the role of toastmaster so that guests planning surprises get the support they need as well.

Whether it is a club celebration, a tournament or a school sports day, I can accompany this kind of event musically and technically without turning it into an artificial fairground. The point is not to drown every moment in sound, but to be properly present where announcements, music and a clear running order genuinely help the event.
That means suitable sound for smaller grounds or halls, wireless microphones for moderation, speeches and awards, and if required, somebody who can handle the microphone properly as well. If you need someone who does more than place cables and stand back, that can be arranged too.

I accompany such events in a way that keeps them professional without making them sterile. And if people do want to celebrate after the presentation, reception or award ceremony, there is no need to reinvent half the setup. Often there is a more formal part first, with speeches, awards, food or programme items, and later the event is supposed to turn into a proper celebration. At that point you very quickly notice whether music is merely being played somewhere or whether someone is actually carrying the evening from “still seated smartly at the tables” to “now we are finally celebrating”.
I support graduation events with the sound and equipment needed both for the programme and for the party afterwards, with solid audio and with the awareness that this evening is not only for a few friends, but often also for parents, teachers and other guests. That does not need to feel stiff, but it should not be chaotic either.
And one well-meant piece of advice before you get lost in decoration, themes and entrance ideas: book your DJ early. Graduation parties land right in the middle of a season already under pressure from weddings, summer parties and all sorts of other celebrations.
