Mobile DJ for Hohen Neuendorf
An ideal DJ for an event in Hohen Neuendorf should be someone you would not only book, but someone you could genuinely imagine as a guest at your own celebration. So no forced showmanship, no awkward permanent grin on command, and no microphone work that makes the champagne reception quietly give up and leave.
What you will find here instead is a mobile DJ who believes in personal planning, suitable sound and lighting, and one clear goal: your celebration should not feel interchangeable. The evening should fit you – not some ready-made concept from the drawer labelled “it will probably do somehow”.
What the evening is really about
Most enquiries are not about some abstract “event” at all, but about very specific celebrations: weddings, birthdays, family parties, club events or perhaps a summer gathering where people want more than just standing around politely with a drink in hand.
That is exactly why the first conversation should not be about playlists, but about the occasion itself. Depending on who is celebrating, what is being celebrated and how the evening is meant to feel, the result will either come together nicely – or simply end up being a date with speakers.
So you know who you are dealing with
Mobiler Musikservice is me, Jens-Peter Weismantel. My first DJ experience goes all the way back to 1992, followed by many years as a radio DJ in web radio. Since 2015 I have been self-employed, providing music for weddings, birthdays, family celebrations and other occasions where music, atmosphere and people should work together rather than compete.
I do not believe in forcing celebrations into one rigid template just because that makes planning feel easier. People celebrate differently, guests react differently, and the evening may look different for exactly that reason. I would much rather you tell me openly what you want than have some generic programme dumped on top of your event.
How much lead time makes sense
As soon as you know where exactly you will be celebrating in Hohen Neuendorf, it is worth getting in touch. During the season from May to September, 6 to 12 months is a good rule of thumb. Outside the season, 1 to 3 months is often enough. That does not mean nothing works later on – only that an early enquiry is usually the more relaxed option.
In August, summer parties and weddings are at their height. Only a few celebrations are still possible up to the end of September – take the opportunity and book now. For parties in October, such as Halloween, now is also the best time to enquire. And if you are already thinking about the turn of the year: your New Year's Eve party can also be planned early and without pressure now. Anyone planning to celebrate between May and September next year can also already note a preferred date now, without any pressure.
Frequently booked as DJ for:
➥ Private parties
Private parties rarely bring together just one type of crowd. From the child with a juice glass to the aunt with unexpectedly strong dance floor instincts, everybody is there – and that is exactly why such an evening needs more than a few safe hits.

Whether it is a birthday, pre-wedding party, anniversary or a larger celebration with family and friends: hosts want atmosphere, guests would ideally each like to hear their own music, and somewhere in between stands the DJ. Anyone who thinks I only have to press play and the rest will sort itself out either knows private parties only by hearsay or has been extremely lucky.
In Hohen Neuendorf, things usually work just like they do elsewhere: first you need a feel for the evening, then for the guests, and then for the right moment. Some people want to dance early, others only later, and others are simply thrilled when something comes on that they have not heard in years.
That is why I do not try to turn private parties into a pretend nightclub. My job is to shape an evening out of your guests, your occasion and your atmosphere – one that stays lively without pulling in five directions at once. When that works well, it looks easy. It is not.
➥ Wedding celebrations
A wedding is also just a private celebration with family and friends. And no, it absolutely is not. Because unlike almost any other party, you do not want to end the night thinking it could all have been better with a little more planning.

What I mean by that slightly confusing opening is simple: weddings demand even more care than an ordinary family celebration. Quite rightly, couples aim for a very high level of perfection, because unlike a birthday party that went slightly wrong, you cannot just say, “We will do it better next year.” This day is meant to be uniquely beautiful.
That is exactly why every wedding is something special to me as a DJ. I prefer to prepare weddings together with the couple in a personal meeting at the venue itself. In that final conversation we go through every highlight of the celebration so as little as possible is left to chance and typical planning mistakes can be avoided. I also speak with the person taking on the role of toastmaster so that guests planning surprises get the support they need as well.
Anyone looking for a wedding DJ has usually already answered the biggest question about the celebration: the right venue. Often it is already booked, sometimes there is still a shortlist with two or three beautiful places nearby. Classic Country Hotel in Wensickendorf may well be one of them. In any case, The district of Oberhavel offers plenty of options, and it is wise to enquire about the DJ as soon as the venue becomes more concrete.
Brandenburg loves differently – how wedding couples celebrate in distinctive venues
People living in Brandenburg often have a strong connection to nature, even when they live in one of the region’s larger towns. That closeness to open space, water and greenery also shows up clearly in the way many couples choose their wedding venue.
Rather than aiming automatically for formal city locations, couples in Brandenburg often choose a lakeside venue, a country house, a manor in the green or a place where the surroundings already provide half the atmosphere on their own.
At the same time, there is a growing move away from sugary fairy-tale ideas towards more individual, rustic celebrations. Converted brick and fieldstone barns are particularly popular. They offer room for personal concepts, flexible catering and generous outdoor areas – often exactly the mix many couples are looking for today.
➥ DJ for emergencies
Booked months in advance, all details discussed – and suddenly the DJ vanishes. Unfortunately, that really does happen. In cases like that, my emergency DJ service can step in, provided the date, distance and overall setup are still realistically manageable.

An enquiry becomes an emergency case for me when it arrives less than 72 hours before music start time or when the actual booking only comes together within the final 48 hours beforehand. From that point on, this is no longer a normal planning process but damage control with very limited time. That is exactly why an emergency booking works differently from a normally prepared event.
Before you start juggling ten question marks in your head, here is a pricing example to give you an initial idea. And if you are thinking this only applies to small birthday gatherings: no. I can also provide emergency events for indoor spaces with up to around 250 guests. If more equipment is needed, you will find further options under My Prices.
I bring equipment, music, microphone work if required and enough routine to turn something decent out of the situation even under time pressure. What you cannot expect is the usual level of detail preparation. I will not build elaborate individual playlists in the last minute, buy missing tracks or design the perfect running order for every programme item. What I do instead is quickly grasp what matters, set up properly and rescue an evening that looked very unstable shortly before.
If you contact me, please make sure the emergency actually looks like one. In the form or by email, use “Emergency” in the subject or occasion. If you call and I do not answer, please do not just hang up – leave the location and start time on voicemail. In genuine emergency situations, those are exactly the minutes that matter.
➥ Sports events
Sports events often have a very specific problem: there is action on the field, while off the field nobody quite knows what to do with the time between the start, the break and the award ceremony. That is exactly where a DJ can be more than just a person with loudspeakers.

I can provide sound, make announcements possible and, if required, also take on the moderating role myself. That fits sports festivals, club competitions, smaller tournaments and similar formats where not every detail needs huge production values, but where the whole event should still feel properly organised.
For smaller sports grounds and halls, I bring the equipment including wireless microphones for announcements, awards or interviews. When it comes to larger areas, my ambition stops early enough and I would rather bring in a partner company that is built for that job. It is more honest, it sounds better and it saves nerves in the end.
If the sports event turns into a celebration afterwards, that is not a problem at all but rather the obvious next step. In that case, awards, announcement beds and event music can flow quite naturally into a proper evening party.
➥ Parties at the turn of the year
The turn of the year is not a night for half-measures. If people are coming together, raising glasses and stepping into a new year, then ideally not with music that sounds as if it was invited only to serve as acoustic wallpaper.

New Year’s Eve has its own rhythm. First there is food, conversation and a bit of warming up, then the tension builds towards midnight and afterwards the evening should be allowed to open up properly once more. Reading that arc is crucial, otherwise the celebration quickly turns into one of those nights where everyone is politely present but nobody ever really gets going.
And let us be honest: even a DJ would usually prefer to spend New Year’s Eve relaxing rather than working. If I am out instead, responsible for the atmosphere, that comes at a price. Anyone who finds that odd is welcome to imagine how many colleagues would gladly drive out on 31 December for an everyday fee. Exactly.
For your commercial New Year’s Eve event in Hohen Neuendorf, the current flat rate for 2026 is 1.200 EUR zzgl. 19 % MwSt. , covering up to 200 guests, 6 to 8 hours of music, sound and lighting and a complete celebration in one room or hall. GEMA fees are not included.
If you are celebrating privately or as a club, this flat rate does not apply. Just get in touch. For those kinds of events I would rather calculate something that actually fits than write down a number that turns out to be nonsense for both sides.
