Mobile DJ for Demmin
An ideal DJ for an event in Demmin should be someone you would not only book, but someone you could genuinely imagine as a guest at your own celebration. So no forced showmanship, no awkward permanent grin on command, and no microphone work that makes the champagne reception quietly give up and leave.
What you will find here instead is a mobile DJ who believes in personal planning, suitable sound and lighting, and one clear goal: your celebration should not feel interchangeable. The evening should fit you – not some ready-made concept from the drawer labelled “it will probably do somehow”.
No celebration is just “something with music”
People getting married have different expectations from those celebrating a birthday. A family event often brings several generations to the same tables, a club evening has a different rhythm again, and at some parties it is obvious very quickly that the night may start gently but certainly should not end that way.
That is exactly why the occasion matters more here than the place name. The location is important, of course. But nobody remembers how often it appeared on the page. What matters is whether the celebration fits the people who are coming together there.
So you know who you are dealing with
Mobiler Musikservice is me, Jens-Peter Weismantel. My first DJ experience goes all the way back to 1992, followed by many years as a radio DJ in web radio. Since 2015 I have been self-employed, providing music for weddings, birthdays, family celebrations and other occasions where music, atmosphere and people should work together rather than compete.
I do not believe in forcing celebrations into one rigid template just because that makes planning feel easier. People celebrate differently, guests react differently, and the evening may look different for exactly that reason. I would much rather you tell me openly what you want than have some generic programme dumped on top of your event.
When to enquire
The most sensible time to enquire is as soon as your venue in Demmin is confirmed. During the main season from May to September, a lead time of roughly 6 to 12 months is a good guide. Outside that season, 1 to 3 months is often enough. Enquiring earlier still never hurts – it merely saves you the frustration of hoping for a date that may already be gone.
The warmer months bring weddings, Jugendweihe celebrations, summer parties and birthday celebrations. The peak season starts in May. For celebrations in May and June, it is now high time to enquire; for events from July to September, you should not wait any longer either.
Frequently booked as DJ for:
➥ Private parties
Private parties rarely bring together just one type of crowd. From the child with a juice glass to the aunt with unexpectedly strong dance floor instincts, everybody is there – and that is exactly why such an evening needs more than a few safe hits.

Whether it is a birthday, pre-wedding party, anniversary or a larger celebration with family and friends: hosts want atmosphere, guests would ideally each like to hear their own music, and somewhere in between stands the DJ. Anyone who thinks I only have to press play and the rest will sort itself out either knows private parties only by hearsay or has been extremely lucky.
In Demmin, things usually work just like they do elsewhere: first you need a feel for the evening, then for the guests, and then for the right moment. Some people want to dance early, others only later, and others are simply thrilled when something comes on that they have not heard in years.
That is why I do not try to turn private parties into a pretend nightclub. My job is to shape an evening out of your guests, your occasion and your atmosphere – one that stays lively without pulling in five directions at once. When that works well, it looks easy. It is not.
➥ Weddings
Weddings are usually celebrated with family, friends and colleagues. Even so, there is a separate section for them here, because a wedding plays in a very different league.

Still looking puzzled? Good. That small bit of confusion was intentional. Just like at any other celebration, planning mistakes can damage a party or even kill it completely. The same goes for guests who crash the timetable with their “wonderful and unique surprise”. The difference is that mistakes at an ordinary private party can be corrected next time. At weddings they cannot, because ideally you only celebrate them once.
Weddings may not be unique to me, but each one is special, and my pre-event nerves make that clear enough. I prepare weddings more thoroughly than any other kind of event. The final planning meeting with my couples ideally takes place at the venue. Coordination with toastmasters or witnesses is part of that too, because they can make or break a wedding evening just as much. Ongoing communication on the wedding day itself also helps prevent awkward disruptions and contributes to a particularly beautiful overall experience.
Anyone looking for a wedding DJ has usually already answered the biggest question about the celebration: the right venue. Often it is already booked, sometimes there is still a shortlist with two or three beautiful places nearby. Bolter Mill in Rechlin may well be one of them. In any case, The district of Mecklenburgische Seenplatte offers plenty of options, and it is wise to enquire about the DJ as soon as the venue becomes more concrete.
Weddings in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania – between tradition and dream venues
Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is strongly shaped by landscape. For many couples, that alone makes the region especially attractive for weddings, because water, forest and wide open views create a mood that does not need much artificial help.
The lack of strong metropolitan flair is often less of a problem than a quiet strength. Cities such as Rostock bring Hanseatic charm and history, while the surrounding countryside offers countless more relaxed and atmospheric alternatives.
That is why many wedding couples here choose between elegant lakeside houses, historic inns, rural estates and Baltic settings with real character. The beauty lies not so much in spectacle, but in places that feel honest and memorable.
➥ Karaoke
Karaoke – or if you like カラオケ – is exactly the sort of party fun where harmless excitement suddenly turns into a deeply committed version of “I know the chorus!”.

Especially at relaxed celebrations, not every minute needs to be tightly choreographed. Sometimes all it takes is a microphone, the right song and one guest who can either sing surprisingly well or with excellent confidence do the exact opposite. In both cases, entertainment is guaranteed.
The karaoke package includes around 300 songs from evergreen classics to newer chart material, two wireless microphones, a monitor on a stand for the lyrics, playback through my DJ sound system and of course title lists so that people do not have to spend ten minutes debating what can actually be sung.
You can find the current price for adding the karaoke package to your party in Demmin here: 69,00 EUR.
One important point, though: this is an add-on to your DJ event. The karaoke package cannot be booked on its own and it is not a rental toaster for the weekend either.
➥ Sports events
Sports events often have a very specific problem: there is action on the field, while off the field nobody quite knows what to do with the time between the start, the break and the award ceremony. That is exactly where a DJ can be more than just a person with loudspeakers.

I can provide sound, make announcements possible and, if required, also take on the moderating role myself. That fits sports festivals, club competitions, smaller tournaments and similar formats where not every detail needs huge production values, but where the whole event should still feel properly organised.
For smaller sports grounds and halls, I bring the equipment including wireless microphones for announcements, awards or interviews. When it comes to larger areas, my ambition stops early enough and I would rather bring in a partner company that is built for that job. It is more honest, it sounds better and it saves nerves in the end.
If the sports event turns into a celebration afterwards, that is not a problem at all but rather the obvious next step. In that case, awards, announcement beds and event music can flow quite naturally into a proper evening party.
➥ Prom, graduation, finally done
When years of exams, tests, group projects and well-practised eye-rolling in the direction of the classroom finally come to an end, the celebration that follows may happily be more than just a pleasant dinner with obligatory smiling.

That is exactly what makes proms and other graduation celebrations so special: they are expected to be several things at once. A little formal, a little emotional, a little reflective, and later on a proper party too. That works well when the running order and the technical side are prepared properly instead of being pushed together in a panic on the night itself.
I can support that with suitable sound for speeches, video clips or programme items, with wireless microphones and of course with music once the official part should finally make way for party mood. The evening may certainly become relaxed. It just should not wobble at the points that can easily be planned well beforehand.
And because your year group is not the only one trying to celebrate in late spring and early summer, here comes the slightly unromantic but important part: secure your date in good time. Around then, an astonishing number of people want to get married, celebrate or otherwise make noise.
