Mobile DJ for Altentreptow
An ideal DJ for an event in Altentreptow should be someone you would not only book, but someone you could genuinely imagine as a guest at your own celebration. So no forced showmanship, no awkward permanent grin on command, and no microphone work that makes the champagne reception quietly give up and leave.
What you will find here instead is a mobile DJ who believes in personal planning, suitable sound and lighting, and one clear goal: your celebration should not feel interchangeable. The evening should fit you – not some ready-made concept from the drawer labelled “it will probably do somehow”.
The occasion sets the tone
A wedding has its own dynamic. A milestone birthday works differently. A club event brings yet another mix of people and expectations. And sometimes it takes only two sentences to know whether the evening should start relaxed and gently build up, or whether the room needs energy right from the beginning.
That is why it makes little sense to treat every celebration the same. It is far more useful to look at the occasion first and work out what the evening actually needs. Not every group takes off at the same point, and that is exactly the difference between generic music support and a celebration that genuinely feels right.
A few words about me
My name is Jens-Peter Weismantel, and I did not suddenly discover yesterday that music and loudspeakers might make a business model. I have been DJing since 1992, later spent about ten years in web radio, and in 2015 I made the move into self-employment and have been working under my own name ever since.
What interests me far more than any artificial DJ show is how an evening needs to fit the people who are celebrating. I am not a fan of treating every event with exactly the same concept. If you already know clearly what you want, great. If you only have a rough direction in mind so far, that is perfectly fine as well. The rest can be worked out together.
When to enquire
The most sensible time to enquire is as soon as your venue in Altentreptow is confirmed. During the main season from May to September, a lead time of roughly 6 to 12 months is a good guide. Outside that season, 1 to 3 months is often enough. Enquiring earlier still never hurts – it merely saves you the frustration of hoping for a date that may already be gone.
The warmer months bring weddings, Jugendweihe celebrations, summer parties and birthday celebrations. The peak season starts in May. For celebrations in May and June, it is now high time to enquire; for events from July to September, you should not wait any longer either.
Frequently booked as DJ for:
➥ Private celebrations
Birthdays often look harmless on paper. In reality they frequently bring together three generations, wildly different musical tastes and at least one guest with an extremely firm opinion about their favourite song.

That is exactly what makes private celebrations interesting. Whether it is a milestone birthday, a coming-of-age event, a family anniversary or a silver wedding celebration: everyone should have a good evening even though musically they are rarely shopping in the same aisle. For me that does not mean running through a prepared list, but finding the right curve between singalongs, dancing, recognition and the occasional breather at the right moment.
In Altentreptow, an evening like this usually begins much like it does elsewhere: first people talk, eat and observe, later the mood gradually tips towards party mode. That is where real sensitivity is needed, because sometimes only one song lies between “please not too wild just yet” and “why is nobody dancing yet?”.
I take my cue from your preferences, from the reactions in the room and of course from suitable requests. Because at private celebrations the point is not to celebrate me, but to keep your evening on course in a way that as many guests as possible remember fondly.
➥ Wedding celebrations
A wedding is also just a private celebration with family and friends. And no, it absolutely is not. Because unlike almost any other party, you do not want to end the night thinking it could all have been better with a little more planning.

What I mean by that slightly confusing opening is simple: weddings demand even more care than an ordinary family celebration. Quite rightly, couples aim for a very high level of perfection, because unlike a birthday party that went slightly wrong, you cannot just say, “We will do it better next year.” This day is meant to be uniquely beautiful.
That is exactly why every wedding is something special to me as a DJ. I prefer to prepare weddings together with the couple in a personal meeting at the venue itself. In that final conversation we go through every highlight of the celebration so as little as possible is left to chance and typical planning mistakes can be avoided. I also speak with the person taking on the role of toastmaster so that guests planning surprises get the support they need as well.
By the time a couple starts looking for a DJ, the venue is often already fixed or at least very clearly taking shape. Maybe you have already made your choice, maybe you are still comparing two or three favourites nearby. La Dersentina might already be part of that picture as well. One way or another, The district of Mecklenburgische Seenplatte offers enough possibilities, and when date and venue are slowly becoming firm, it is worth not waiting too long with the DJ enquiry.
Getting married in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania – beautiful places for your big day
Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is full of natural beauty and offers wedding couples an unusually wide range of possible settings. Lakes, forests, rivers and the Baltic Sea give the region a landscape many people immediately associate with calm, openness and atmosphere.
Because there is little big-city glamour here, many couples focus instead on the region’s quieter strengths: historic buildings, waterside venues, rural elegance and places where the surroundings already do much of the emotional work.
That leads to a rich variety of wedding locations: castles and manor houses in the countryside, historic town venues, hunting lodges in green surroundings and seaside settings that range from rustic to modern. For many couples, that balance of nature and character is exactly the appeal.
➥ Karaoke parties
If there is a small gap at a party somewhere between eating, drinking and dancing, you do not necessarily have to dig out the next drinking game. You can also simply let people sing.

That is exactly where karaoke shines. Guests entertain guests, someone suddenly discovers their inner pop star, and the rest of the room wavers somewhere between applause, laughter and loud support, depending on the talent level involved. Boredom is rarely an issue.
For that, I bring a ready-made karaoke package: about 300 songs in German and English, two wireless microphones, a 24.5-inch monitor on a stand for the lyrics and clean playback via my DJ system. Song lists are naturally included, too, so nobody has to guess what is available.
The current price for the karaoke package is 69,00 EUR.
And just for the avoidance of doubt before the question even gets a running start: no, the package is not available as a stand-alone booking and not as simple equipment hire. With me, karaoke is always an add-on to your party.
➥ Business events
New products, an open day or an event for sales teams, clients and partners do not need to disappear into dry conference air. A good framework helps to make sure people do not just show up, but actually like staying there.

That is exactly where a DJ can make sense for reasons other than partying. Music can create atmosphere without pushing itself to the front, smooth transitions and give a business event more life without making it feel like a disco. Then there is the technical side: clear speech for announcements, wireless microphones for moderation and a setup that still works properly if the official part later turns into something more sociable.
I accompany such events in a way that keeps them professional without making them sterile. And if people do want to celebrate after the presentation, reception or award ceremony, there is no need to reinvent half the setup. The technical side is already there and the direction can simply be turned further.
➥ Sports events
Sports events often have a very specific problem: there is action on the field, while off the field nobody quite knows what to do with the time between the start, the break and the award ceremony. That is exactly where a DJ can be more than just a person with loudspeakers.

I can provide sound, make announcements possible and, if required, also take on the moderating role myself. That fits sports festivals, club competitions, smaller tournaments and similar formats where not every detail needs huge production values, but where the whole event should still feel properly organised.
For smaller sports grounds and halls, I bring the equipment including wireless microphones for announcements, awards or interviews. When it comes to larger areas, my ambition stops early enough and I would rather bring in a partner company that is built for that job. It is more honest, it sounds better and it saves nerves in the end.
If the sports event turns into a celebration afterwards, that is not a problem at all but rather the obvious next step. In that case, awards, announcement beds and event music can flow quite naturally into a proper evening party.
