Karaoke party with guests singing in front of a mobile DJ setup

Karaoke for your event

Mic on. Favourite song on. Let’s go.

The moment singing along suddenly turns into karaoke.

There’s a moment at a party when someone starts singing along. And then there’s the moment when a microphone suddenly appears. From that point on, the chorus becomes part of the programme – spontaneous, entirely voluntary and usually with a much bigger audience than planned.

First one. Then everyone.

Karaoke has a nice habit of not sticking to the planned running order for very long.

“I never sing.”Until someone finds the right song.

One duetsuddenly turns into six voices.

The chorusbecomes a team sport.

The audienceturns into the backing choir.

Off-key notes?Material for the best stories of the night.

“Just one song.”Surprisingly often the start of song number two.

Karaoke when the party calls for it

Sing, dance, carry on.

You’re not booking a rigid karaoke night with a fixed programme. Karaoke is simply another part of your party: when the first guests feel like singing, everything is ready. And when it’s time to dance again later, the music carries on without a major changeover.

Wireless microphones are ready for the singers. The lyrics run on a 24-inch monitor positioned where it is actually useful – not on some tiny display at the DJ booth. Playback uses the existing DJ sound system.

Big enough to sing from

Read the lyrics instead of guessing them.

The karaoke monitor sits in the singers’ line of sight and shows the lyrics large and clear. During the song you can see exactly which line is up next. That helps even when you “know the song by heart” – right up until you’re holding the microphone.

Which song will be yours?

The online songbook currently contains 900 different karaoke songs spanning more than 60 years of music history. Search by artist or title, or simply browse the repertoire by decade.

During a karaoke round it becomes more than a list of songs: guests can send their chosen song straight to the DJ. And if you would rather browse on paper than tap a screen, there is a printed songbook at the event as well.

My karaoke package

If karaoke fits your party, it doesn’t need to become a second event running alongside it. The package simply joins the mobile disco: setup, operation and the switch back to dance music all stay with me. Exactly what is included is listed in the price block below.

Karaoke Package | Two Shure wireless microphones, a lyrics monitor and 900 different songs – plus an online songbook with requests sent straight to the DJ.

Karaoke is an easy way to add another highlight to the party between dinner, conversation and the dance floor. Instead of awkward downtime, there are microphones, lyrics on screen and plenty of moments people will still be talking about afterwards.

  • 900 different karaoke songs, from classics to current favourites, for solo singers and duets
  • 2 Shure SM58 wireless microphones with plenty of freedom to move
  • mixer for the microphones and karaoke playback
  • 24.5-inch monitor on a stand for the lyrics
  • playback through the DJ sound system
  • easy-to-use online songbook for smartphones, tablets and computers
  • search by artist or song title and filter by decade
  • guests can send their karaoke request straight to the DJ from the songbook
  • printed songbook for anyone who would rather browse than tap

The karaoke package is an add-on to your party rather than a standalone rental. It is ready whenever somebody feels like stepping up to the microphone – and with the songbook and direct request function, nobody has to queue at the DJ booth just to ask for a song.

While you’re singing

At the DJ booth, the next song is already being lined up.

For me, karaoke stays part of the normal flow of the event. Song requests come straight to me, the next track can be prepared, and switching between karaoke and dance music does not need a long pause. For your guests, the important part is much simpler: pick up the microphone, see the lyrics and start singing.

Karaoke FAQ

If I book the karaoke package, do we have to sing the whole time?

No — karaoke is only an add-on: if nobody wants to sing anymore, I simply continue as DJ and play music as usual.

How does karaoke work with you?

You sing through the DJ sound system and can choose your song in the online songbook and send it straight to the DJ.

Which karaoke songs are available?

There are 900 different karaoke songs available, ranging from the 1960s to today.

Can I request specific songs for karaoke?

No, you can only choose from the roughly 900 available tracks.

What do you need on site for karaoke (space, electricity, internet)?

Please allow some additional space for a tripod monitor stand.

Enough theory. Who’s singing first?
